Today in class Callie Nikki and I all completed the paper. We are going to review the paper for homework and fix anything that doesn't fit or needs improvement. Hopefully we get a good grade.

Today in class we continued to work on our term paper. It was hard to work on it because the sub wouldn't let us talk so many questions we needed to ask our group we couldn't. It is hard to all write the same paper without talking it out so we all know what to write. My group has many words and are close to being finished. If we get a good grade on this paper, it will really help our grades.

Today was our first day without mr schick. We all worked together in our groups to start our paper. We got a lot of the paper completed. We are working at a good pace and if we keep it up we will be able to see the errors and correct them before we turn it in.

Today was our last class with mr schick until he goes away and visits her daughter. I wish i could spend a semester living in a castle. That would be pretty cool.
We went over some slides and learned new things. It was about spartans and we also talked about a few gods and goddesses which i already knew about a little because thats what i did my project and and now we will begin our paper tomorrow.

Today in class we discussed things about our term paper. There are many rules about what we need for this paper. It has to be 1000 words. That seems like a lot, but with 3 people in each group working on it thats not much. As long as we all work equally on it and spend the right amount of time on it, it will not be hard to complete. When Mr. Schick goes away to visit his daughter at school, we will be working on it in class.

I hope my group (callie, nikki and i) got a good grade because it will help our grades go up for the 3rd quarter since i am so close to a B! Also we now have an paper we will all be starting soon.

Aristocracy
-Aristocracy is ruled by aristocrats-They attended symposiums-Symposiums were meetings where the elite men would enjoy wine and poetry, performances by dancers and acrobats and the coming of hetaeras (courtesans) while discussing politics
An Exclusive Club
-No women allowed (except the "entertainment")-No middle class-Certainly, no slaves-Sometimes, even aristocrats who didn't have the right connections or who fell out of favor, were excluded-What to do if you're "on the outside"?

Today we continued to work on our powerpoint presentation. My group is doing pretty well and getting lots done. We have all been working equally on it so i hope we all get good grades. The topic we are doing "Greek gods and goddesses" i find interesting. The reason for that is because i like learning about all of these gods and goddesses because they are all unique.

Socrates
Socrates was born in circa 470 BC, in Athens, Greece. Socrates worked as a stone mason for many years until he devoted his life to philosophy. He is one of the founders of Western Philosophy.Socrates used the Socratic method as his approach, this concept was asking questions and by doing so you'll find your answer in those reposes. This method was designed to examine your beliefs. People accused Socrates of teaching the young of Athens and disrespecting the Gods. They sentenced him to death by poison (hemlock).
