Todays class

In class today we took the Ancient Egypt test. I thought that it was easy. There were not many questions on the test. If you played the pyramid game the last part of the test was really easy because it was all from the game. I hope that i did well on the test.

1)The Calender: If they didn't have the calendar then they would never know what day it was/ when the Nile was going to flood

So they could predict when the floods were coming and that was very important because they would know to put everything awhile and to prepare before it.

3)Black ink was one of the types of ink and dyes that the ancient Egyptians invented. The depth of the colors were utilized a lot in Egypt. The same colors and inks can and are seen today. The ink helped them  write in hieroglyphs and in hieratic.

4) Egyptian are the ones who invented the door lock. When they invented the door lock it was with a key to unlock and lock the door. Furthermore, now all we have to do is turn the lock on the door to lock it. However, who would have know it was from the Egyptians.
